ABOUT ACTIONAID INTERNATIONAL SOMALILAND
ActionAid International is a global justice
Federation working in about 70 countries across the world to achieve social
justice, gender equality and poverty eradication. ActionAid is currently
registered in Somaliland with the Ministry of National Planning and
Development. We have been operating in Somaliland for over 32 years with most
operations concentrated in 4 out of 6 regions in Somaliland. We work directly
in many communities across our operational areas with people’s organizations,
women’s movements, youth activists, and networks, social movements, and other
allies to overcome the structural causes and consequences of poverty and
injustice. We connect the work we do at community level with broader efforts
and struggles for justice at the national, regional, and global level to make
the greatest contribution towards a just, equitable and sustainable world.
