10, 2026. Contract Type: 1 year, possibly with an extension. Overall job purpose Conduct nutritional screening and assessment of children under five
years old using MUAC, weight, height, oedema checks for growth monitoring and
to identify malnutrition cases. Also conduct screenings and assessment of
pregnant and lactating women using MUAC measurements. H/she also conducts
registration and documentation of child’s information. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Program Implementation Ensure screening area is well organized, all essential
materials/equipment is functioning and are in place and he/she wears uniform. To ensure that you take correctly the anthropometric measurement
such as; MUAC, Weight Height, Z-Score and Oedema. Ensure that you perform a prioritising approach to the
beneficiaries those are at the triage so as to identify the severe ones and get the service first. Ensure to the use of WH Z –score charts, the children of <-3
WH z-score they consider as OTP and >-3 to <-2 WH z-score they consider as TSFP To be aware
of that the equipment of the measurement is in good condition. Ensure proper taking and testing of Edema to determine if a child
has bilateral edema. Ensures that nutritional protocol is strictly followed in terms
of admission and discharge criteria. To attend training as requested. To attend team meetings on a regular basis. To take part in nutrition surveys and mass screening assessments
quarterly and as required. Team work Maintains a good working relationship with all clinic staff, BHO
and SRCS Branch staff through continuous communication and feedback on activities. For a temporary period, the employee may be asked to perform
duties and task not covered in this job description as well as to provide support to other
departments when and if necessary. Skills and qualifications Qualifications Diploma in nursing, public health, Nutrition or equivalent
qualifications Required Job Experience and Competencies Minimum 2 years of Auxiliary nurse or any other relevant
profession and experience Good communication skills and a willingness to be respectful,
kind, sensitive and empathise with all beneficiaries and their carers Willingness and capacity to be flexible and accommodating when
faced with difficult and frustrating working conditions Prepared to live and work in an uncertain security environment Ability and willingness to frequently travel and stay at the
field. Fluency in written and speaking mother language and some English Previous experience of working such this field. Experience of emergency nutrition work (ideally measurement or
screening) Able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge in the subject of nutritional
