Job Summary The Laboratory Technician plays a vital role in supporting patient diagnosis and treatment by performing a variety of laboratory procedures. This position ensures accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to quality and safety standards in all laboratory operations. Key Responsibilities • Conduct routine laboratory tests on patient samples (blood, urine, and other fluids) using automated analyzers and manual techniques • Prepare
specimens for analysis, ensuring proper labeling, handling, and storage • Perform quality control procedures and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or procedural errors • Document and report test results accurately, maintaining organized records in compliance with regulatory requirements • Collaborate with healthcare providers to communicate test results and support patient care decisions • Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining laboratory cleanliness and organization • Adhere to established protocols for infection control, biohazard waste management, and laboratory safety Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s
degree in medical laboratory science or a related field • Minimum 3
years of laboratory experience • Strong
knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment operation • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures accurately • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Flexibility
to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required • Good command
