This position will involve managing both the sales and operational aspects of a pest management company. Key responsibilities include generating leads, closing sales, and building client relationships, while also overseeing daily pest control services, managing technicians, ensuring regulatory compliance, and handling customer service issues.

The role requires a blend of sales and customer-facing skills along with operational and management capabilities. 

Skills and qualifications

Sales responsibilities

• Client acquisition: Find and secure new clients through leads, networking, and referrals.
• Client relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Marketing strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans, including digital marketing, social media, and advertising.
• Sales targets: Meet or exceed sales goals and objectives. 

Operations responsibilities

• Team management: Manage, and schedule pest control technicians and other staff.
• Service delivery: Ensure services are delivered on time and according to company policy and quality standards.
• Inventory and equipment: Monitor and manage inventory of pesticides, equipment, and supplies. Maintain service vehicles and equipment.
• Problem-solving: Address customer complaints and resolve escalated service issues. 

Combined responsibilities

Reporting: Generate reports on sales performance and operational efficiency.

Cost control: Monitor branch finances, control costs, and help with pricing and profitability.
