Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager is
responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent
customer service, efficient operations, staff performance, food quality, and
compliance with health and safety regulations. The manager plays a key role in
driving sales, maintaining profitability, and creating a positive work
environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise
day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including kitchen, dining, and event
areas.
• Hire,
train, and manage restaurant staff including waiters, chefs, cleaners, and
cashiers.
Ensure
excellent customer service and respond to customer complaints and feedback.
• Oversee
food preparation and presentation standards.
• Maintain
inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Monitor
compliance with health and safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
Job postings
• Plan
and organize special functions and events (conferences, banquets).
Prepare
and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Monitor
and control labor and operational costs
• Maintain
cleanliness and ambiance of the venue, including the conference hall and
dine-in areas.
• Implement
marketing and promotional activities to increase sales.
• Ensure
the restaurant is profitable, efficient, and aligned with company goals.
Skills and
qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Proven
experience as a restaurant manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong
leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Customer-service
oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge
of restaurant management software (POS, inventory, reservations).
• Understanding
of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability
to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• High
school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality or business is a plus.
