Purpose of the Role The purpose of this position is to
provide strategic and operational leadership to Adeeg Organic Market’s retail
and production operations. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily
business activities, ensuring high standards of product quality and customer
service, and driving operational efficiency across branches and production
sites. This role is central to sustaining Adeeg’s growth, maintaining its
reputation for excellence, and implementing systems that enhance productivity,
staff performance, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will play a
key role in aligning business operations with the company’s mission of
promoting healthy, organic living. 3. Key
Responsibilities The Manager will provide strategic
direction and hands-on leadership to ensure operational excellence, customer
satisfaction, business growth, and regulatory compliance across all branches
and production sites of Adeeg Organic Market. Operational Leadership and Team
Management · Oversee daily operations across
retail branches and production sites, ensuring efficient coordination among
procurement, logistics, and sales functions. · Maintain high standards in
operational efficiency, quality control, and alignment with Adeeg’s focus on
freshness and healthy food. · Lead the recruitment, training,
supervision, and performance management of staff to build a professional and
customer-oriented team. Customer Experience, Inventory, and
Financial Oversight · Ensure exceptional customer service,
address client feedback, and implement systems that enhance the overall
shopping experience. · Manage inventory and supply chain
processes to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste. · Support financial planning and
reporting, including budget preparation, cost control, and monitoring sales
performance. Strategic Growth, Branding, and
Compliance · Contribute to business development
through market analysis, new product introduction, and branch expansion
initiatives. · Collaborate with the marketing team
to lead promotional campaigns and enhance Adeeg’s brand visibility. · Ensure all business practices comply
with health, safety, and quality regulations, safeguarding Adeeg’s reputation
for excellence. Skills
and qualifications 4. Required Qualifications and
Skills · Educational Background: Bachelor's
degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field;
additional training in leadership or operations is a plus. · Business Acumen: Strong
understanding of retail and production business operations, with the ability to
manage budgets, drive sales, and optimize supply chains. · Local Market Insight: Familiarity
with the Somaliland business environment, including local consumer behavior,
regulatory practices, and sourcing dynamics. · Customer-Centered Mindset: Proven
experience in delivering excellent customer service and developing systems that
enhance client satisfaction and loyalty. · Team Leadership: Strong
team-building skills with a track record of recruiting, mentoring, and
motivating staff to perform effectively in dynamic settings. · Communication & Problem-Solving:
Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and communication skills, with the
ability to handle operational challenges efficiently. 6. Working
Conditions · Work Location: The Manager will be
based in Hargeisa and will operate primarily from Adeeg
Organic Market’s main office, with regular visits to the retail
branches and production sites. · Working Hours: This is a full-time
position with a standard workweek of 6 days (Saturday to Thursday), requiring
flexibility to work extended hours during peak business periods, public
holidays, or seasonal campaigns. · Mobility: Occasional travel may be
required between branches, production centers, supplier locations, or partner
meetings within Somaliland. · Work Environment: The role involves
a combination of office-based planning, on-site supervision of retail and
production operations, and engagement with staff and customers in a dynamic,
fast-paced environment. · Tools & Equipment: The company
will provide essential tools for communication and reporting, including access
to business software systems, internet, and mobile allowance as per internal
policy. · Reporting & Accountability: The
Manager will report directly to the CEO and will be accountable for meeting
operational targets, ensuring team performance, and maintaining high standards
