Claims Manager to lead the Claims and Recoveries Department. The successful
candidate will be responsible for supervising all claims-related activities,
ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and industry standards. Key Duties & Responsibilities ·
Manage and supervise all
types of insurance claims in accordance with policy terms. ·
Approve settlements within
delegated authority. ·
Lead the Claims and
Recoveries team and review accident reports and supporting documentation. ·
Validate repair and parts
quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness. ·
Recommend the resolution of
complex or pending claims and co-sign high-value settlements with the General
Manager. ·
Monitor salvage and
recovery activities to reduce compensation costs. ·
Maintain timely and
professional communication with claimants to expedite claim closures. ·
Ensure all claim payments
are supported by complete documentation. ·
Implement internal audit
recommendations to minimize company liabilities. ·
Take proactive legal or
administrative action to protect company interests when necessary. Skills and qualifications Qualifications ·
A minimum of a Bachelor’s
degree in Financial or Administrative Sciences. ·
Candidates must also have
either: ·
At least 10 years of
relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or ·
At least 3 years of
