Job Title: Sales and Marketing Officer

Location: Hargeisa, Somaliland
Reports To: Managing Director of Tusmokart

Job Purpose:

The Sales and Marketing Officer will play a key role in driving revenue growth, building brand awareness, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction for Tusmokart, a wholesale B2B e-commerce platform. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, converting leads, maintaining strong client relationships, and implementing marketing strategies to position Tusmokart as a leading marketplace in the region.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Sales Responsibilities:

 Data Sourcing and Lead Management:

 Identify potential clients, including retailers, resellers, SMEs, and online stores.

 Maintain and update a detailed customer database within CRM tools.

 Sales Conversion and Target Achievement:

 Meet the annual target of $100,000 in revenue with an average order value of $200.

 Convert 10% of leads and total website visitors into orders, resulting in 500 completed orders by year-end.

 Client Engagement:

 Conduct regular meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and introduce Tusmokartsservices.

 Guide clients on how to use the platform, place orders, and track deliveries.

 Sales Data Analysis and Reporting:

 Analyze sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports with actionable recommendations.

 Customer Support and Resolution:

 Collaborate with operations to ensure 90% of ordersare delivered within the specified timeline (14-65 days).

 Resolve client inquiries promptly to maintain a 90% satisfaction rate.

Marketing Responsibilities:

 Strategic Marketing Planning:

 Develop and implement marketing strategies to achieve growth goals, including revenue and lead generation.

 Digital Marketing Management:

 Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) to achieve 10,000 followers with an 8% engagement rate.

 Execute WhatsApp Business campaigns, targeting a 70% open rate and 30% click-through rate.

 Lead Generation and Conversion:

 Build and maintain a database of 5,000 qualified B2B leads.

 Plan campaigns to secure 500 new customers with at least one purchase.

 Content Creation and Brand Awareness:

 Produce high-quality content, including, creating/run 60 posters, per month, 8 videos, product guides, and customer success stories, tailored to the local market.

 Collaborate with 10 local influencers and business organizations for promotion and awareness.

 SEO and Website Traffic:

 Optimize search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO) to drive 100,000 website visitors.

 Customer Retention Initiatives:

 Design loyalty programs and campaigns to achieve a 30% customer retention rate.

 Customer Feedback:

 Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve marketing strategies and overall customer experience.
