Job Requirement | KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: a. HR Related Work o
Forecasting HR needs and developing strategies to meet those needs. o
Manage the recruitment and selection process and work with the management team
to assess new positions and job descriptions. o
Attracting candidates through various
channels such as job postings, social media, and recruitment agencies o
Collect and analyze employee data and
maintain accurate and complete employee records o
Manage and keep up to date with all HR
administration systems including salaries & increments, leave, probation,
training and gratuities o
Motivate all staff to excel in the
quality of output they provide and to work effectively in a team o
Oversee and update the development and
implementation of the HR policies and procedures including recruitment,
training, and talent development. o
Carry out disciplinary procedures and
handle employee grievances o
Serve as a link between management and
employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policy, and
helping resolve work-related problems o
Work with SomPower Legal advisors to
ensure that the company comply with Somaliland Labor laws when handling
employee issues o
Work with the safety team to maintain
safety training documentation including safety audits and training. o
Ensure the planning, monitoring, and
appraisal of employee work results by training and mentoring managers to coach
and discipline employees o
Administer a performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance,
and equity within the organization o
Prepare Human Resources and
Administration Department budgets. o
Report to and work with the CEO on all
human resource matters

Plan, coordinate, and manage all
administrative procedures and systems o
Allocate responsibilities and office
space o
Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of
information within the company o
Manage schedules and deadlines o
Organize and supervise other office
activities o
Adhere to policies and regulations o
Keep abreast with all organizational
changes and business developments c. IT Related Work o
Manage information technology and
computer systems o
Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT
and electronic data operations o
Manage IT staff by recruiting, training,
and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their
performance o
Design, develop, implement, and
coordinate systems, policies, and procedures o
Ensure the security of data, network
access, and backup systems o
Act in alignment with user needs and
system functionality to contribute to organizational policy o
Identify problematic areas and implement
strategic solutions in time o
Preserve assets, information security,
and control structures o
Audit systems and assess their outcomes Skills
and qualifications o
Bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration with Human Resource Management or Phycology or related field from
a reputable university o
Master’s Degree in Human Resource (MHR),
MBA with HR Concentration or organizational development is a strong advantage o
Good knowledge and experience with
management and reporting o
Excellent knowledge of Somaliland labor
laws and sharia laws o
6+ years of related experience o
Strong interpersonal and leadership
skills o
Excellent oral and written English
communication skills o
Exceptional time management and ability
to problem solve under pressure o
Results-driven personality eager to
partner with upper management to organize, plan, and achieve company objectives
