Key Responsibilities ·

Engage
with local schools and institutions to ensure long-term capacity-building and
knowledge-sharing. ·
Collaborate
with local trainers to develop a cadre of future English language teacher
trainers who can sustain the training model beyond the project’s initial phase. Skills and qualifications Essential ·
CELTA,
TESOL, or equivalent English Language Teaching certification. ·
A
Bachelor's degree in any field ·
At
least 2 years of English language teaching experience ·
Experience
developing curriculum, schemes of work, and lesson plans ·
Demonstrated
knowledge of and experience in conducting language assessments. ·
Strong
organisational skills, with the ability to develop curriculum content and
manage multiple tasks effectively. ·
Fluency
in both spoken and written English. Desirable ·
A
Master’s degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field, DELTA, or
Qualifed Teacher Status with an emphasis on English as a Second Language. ·
Experience
in Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). ·
Experience
in teacher training or coaching. ·
Knowledge

Somaliland, focusing on improving the English language proficiency of adult
learners, including teachers. The goal is to enhance educational outcomes
across primary and secondary schools, as well as institutions of higher
education. We are now recruiting four English Language Teachers who will be
assigned based on project needs.
