Details of Compliance Officer

Telesom Company is looking for a Creative & Experienced Compliance Officer at Hargeisa who will responsible for the Compliance activities.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 ·         Develop and maintain internal AML procedures and policies including customer due diligence measures, reporting, record keeping, risk assessment, management and control systems.

·          Establish and maintain appropriate risk based monitoring processes that are proportionate to the scale, nature and complexity of the Company operations.

·         Gather and analyze compliance-related data and construct strategic responses & reports.

·         Ensure that all staff and agents are adequately trained in recognizing AML, Fraud and Risk prevention requirements.

·         Ensure that staff are complying with the stated policy and therefore monitoring operations and the development of the policy.

·         Effectively manage the day-to-day operations of the Fraud and Risk related matters.

·         Investigate fraud and risk incidents, Interviews victims, wit-nesses and perpetrators.

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor Degree of Risk Management, LAW and Business administration. Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant fields.

COMPETENCIES

·         Broad knowledge of legal/compliance risk areas.

·         Strong oral and written communication skills.

·          Translation and interpretation (Both from English and Arabic to Somali).

·         Ability to analyze and present data.

·         Problem solving and decision making.

·         Planning and Organizing.

·         Innovation & creativity skills.
