Overview:
BIU is located in Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland. It is a communal
and non-profit university, accredited by the Somaliland Ministry of Education
and Science. The main objective of BIU is to address the educational needs of
society in the Horn of Africa at large, particularly Somaliland. It currently
offers different programs in the fields of Islamic Economics and Banking,
Information Technology, Accounting and Finance, Education, Project Management,
Shari’ah, the Quran and Business Administration BIU is committed to providing
quality education. It aims to cultivate the talents of exceptional students,
thus enriching human capital both locally and internationally. As a university
